Religious Organizations- has to be seized immediately because it controls the way people think and gains support for your cause. This provides a way to recruit people and keep people in believing your ideas.
Military Armed Forces- We have to take them immediately because they can not defend themselves. You can use the military to physically take people over. If you do not take them over they can take your government and destroy it.
Newspaper- Newspapers should be taken immediately because it is read everyday. You can use propaganda because that is where they get their ideas. If it is not, it can start a revolution against you.
Police Department- They are the ones that enforce the laws so they have to be used to enforce people. If you do not have a strong police force people will just break the rules all the time. You need them to put down the law and make sure everything is safe.
Government agencies- You have to have the intelligence to know what exactly is going on in your country. If you do not have a strong government you will not be able to follow up your ideas and people will walk all over you.
Oil/Gas Companies- This is the biggest impact on transportation. If you control that you will be able to control all of the transportation and then people will not be able to do anything.
Industrial Factories- Having industrial factories let’s you build whatever you want and whatever you need. This gives a lot of people jobs so you can control what everyone is doing. This also provides a lot of money to the country.
Banking Industry- If you can control the economy; you can control everyone and what is going on around them and with them. This also provides money to your government.
Judicial System- If you can put people in jail you can control anyone who is trying to revolt. You can control who is making the laws and enforce them.
Food Distributors- No one can go without food so it is a good punishment or control mechanism over the people.

No because there is checks and balances in our government. There is to many different types of people in our country because we could not control everyone and we live in a democratic country.

No, because everything happening in a totalitarian government is a crime. There might be less crimes citizens against each other but everyone would be getting a crime committed against them by the government.
How important is the leader or figurehead of a totalitarian regime?Can atotalitarian government exist without one?
The leader is very important because there whom everyone looks to and he symbolizes the entire regime. I think it could be difficult for them to exist because someone always wants all the power.
